Okay I am making a cake and covering the top with bc roses. i want the roses to have a kind of dome to them, so they are not just laying flat on the cake. I know when you do bunches of roses you build them up a little with extra frosting under them. but I want to cover the whole top of a 9" cake and that would be a lot of extra bc. Any ideas on how to do this???? Can you even understand what I am asking??
Try using marshmellows instead. Use the large size -- cut them at different heights to acheive the dome look. Fill in the gaps with leaves of different shapes and sizes.
