Hi,
I have to make a baby shower cake for this saturday, and I would love to make some baby booties. On the cake pictures they look great. It is difficult to make? Does anybody have some patterns and/or instructions?
Please I need any help. icon_smile.gif

if you look in my photos there is a pair of booties on a christening cake. thos were the easiest booties in the world. time consuming to paste on the flowers but super easy. the only thing is i dont have the pattern online. i will try to take a picture of the pattern and upload it for you. when do you need to do the cake for?

Are you wanting to do gumpaste booties or cupcake booties. If gumpaste, you may try doing a search in the patterns gallerie. If you want to do cupcake booties there is a great link, I'll try to attach it.

Here is a link to Calidawn's tutorial that also includes patterns. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/1297048171051689275pIfsFD

I actually bought the cutters from country kitchen. Very easy to use.

Another great way is use Twinkies for the foot part and then all you have to do is pipe the sock part, they are easy to ice or star tip or whatever you want, fondant...? The best part is when they get to eat them, a little surprise inside.
