I am making a 2 layer 11 x 15. Will 1 extender mix be enough for each layer or will it make it to short? I use the extender which calls for 1 cp flour, 1 cp sugar, 1 1/3 cp water, 8 oz sourcream, 4 egg whites 1/4 cp oil and cake mix.
Thanks!!

I'm not positive but it might not be as tall as you'd like. I use 2 plain cake mixes in an 11x15 and I don't think that the extended recipe makes twice a regular mix. I've only tried the extended recipe one time so far and I got 4 5-inch square cakes plus 6 cupcakes out of it.
