Hi all,
New poster here! Have been a big fan of baking for over a year now and have created lots of cupcakes, cookies, cakes, etc but only in the last few weeks have I started to get into the decorating aspect. In the last week alone I have done 3 cakes. One with basketweave and fondant flowers, one with basketweave and strawberries and one with royal icing and fondant decorations.
It's my aunt's 50th birthdays in September and I have offered to make themed cakes. They are twins and for one I'm going to attempt a handbag cake which I think I can figure out from images I have gathered online but the other is a complete chocoholic and I want to make her favourite chocolate bar as a cake. I have hunted for images online but I'm not having much luck. She is a fan of Cadburys Dairy milk

but I'm not sure how to translate the image in my head into the cake! I want it to look like a half opened chocolate bar with the wrapping folded back. Any tips, images, links, ideas would be really appreciated! Bear in mind I am UK based so there may be some equipment I don't have access to.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to trawling this site, I've already been on it for ages when I should be working!!
...and here's one done by Truly Scrumptious Designer Cakes:

Okay, last one....then I better get back to work too! ![]()
This one is a bit simpler and uses no edible images, by The Black Forest Tavern bakery:

Here's a sheetcake I did of a Hershey bar.

A big thanks to all the people that replied. The pics are a great help and have inspired me to give my own version a go. I'm probably going to experiment over the next few weeks so I'll post pics as soon as I'm able.
Thanks,
