Hi everyone,
I am working on a cake for a friend and tried a FBCT. It is now on the cake, but is thick so it is raised off the top. Is this right? Should I go around it with some white to make it blend in more, or is it supposed to be raised? Or should I have pressed it down more when I first put it on? Here's a pic of what it looks like so far.

I haven't tried one yet, but if it were me...leave it! OMG it's perfect! Wonderful job on this! You nailed it! But I'm sure others will say to go around the edges, is what I've heard on other posts.

Thanks - I think I will go around it before I bring it to my friend tonight, and post a pic of the finished cake later.

It looks great! My fbcts usually stick out but I don't always put a border around them. I think yours is fine without a border...the letters have the white outline so I think adding a border would detract from it.

Yep, you nailed it perfectly your first time. I think it is wonderful the way it is...no border is needed icon_wink.gif

Congrats thumbs_up.gif

Thanks Stephanie214 & sweetbaker! I am now going back to thinking I will leave it.
I love the way the actual transfer came out and I can't wait to do more!!! I wish I had tried it on the last cake I did for my sister's birthday - I tried to freehand a Green Bay Packers logo and it was all lopsided icon_surprised.gif If I had done this, it would have been so much better thumbs_up.gif
