Hi All,

I have been making more and more cakes lately, which means more and more scraps for my hips or scraps for the garbage. Either way i would like to start to use the scraps to make cake balls but have no idea how to begin pricing.

Any suggestions.....

Zakia

There have been some threads on here where the girls and guys have discussed priceing them by the dozen like 8-10$ per dozen or even more in some cases. I guess alot plays into how you package them as well the fancier the package the pricing would go up .. but that is just my oponion I get 10 a dozen for a pretty box with a ribbon each "cruffle" has a little buttercream bud on it. Now that Im thinking about it I think my prices are about to go up that barely covers the cost of my chocolate..

Cruffles is what I call cake balls. I have even started the process of patenting it. Surprised to see someone else use the phrase. My company logo is CRUFFLES.

Thats funny I have been calling them cruffles... like truffles from cake crumbs... Ive been calling them that ever since I saw the first recipe I never liked the term cake balls.
