I posted a few weeks ago looking for ideas on how to include 6 sports teams on a birthday cake. Doug suggested pennant flags, which I love the idea. I'm having difficulty finding pictures that will be big enough to look normal on the cake and not too big for a flag...any suggestions?

also, i'm attempting my first real FBCT with this cake and I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for me...words of advice?

finally, the customer would like a yellow cake, with strawberry filling and chocolate icing...this seems like an overload to me. what do you think? does anyone have a good strawberry filling recipe.

as always, thanks so much for your help.

There's a great filling recipe on this site called Strawberry Cake Filling. Look in the recipe section.

I think yellow cake, strawberry filling and chocolate icing sound like a great combo!

this site has photos of almost all the teams pennants you could download and print out using edible images.

There is a great Strawberry filling receipe on Wiltons web-site. I use it all the time, the only thing is that it needs to stay cool because it has whipping cream in it.

I think the flavor combinations sound great. When I use the strawberry filling I almost always do white chocolate cake with white chocolate bc frosting.
