OK... when doing a wedding cake with MMF, how would you store this...like I bake my cakes wednesday, crumb coat, then thrus icing with buttercreme, so on friday if I covered the cakes with MMF...how would I store them so the fondant doesn't dry out and get funny????
I know this is dumb, but what do you all do when making fondant covered cakes?
TIA

I just put mine in a cake box if it's only a day or so!

I always have to store my cakes in the fridge, 'cause of the fillings. I have only done one MMF covered cake, and kept it in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap for a few days. It was totally fine.

That's an excellent question. I'd like to know how long before you can work with it as well.
