me too!!! I am an okie!!! although I married my dh and was transported to kansas. I lived in perry oklahoma for about 25 years.
I am going to visit my parents this weekend, and going to go to the sugar art show in tulsa. can't wait.
as far as football loyalites go....I don't care for football at all, so could care less about either team. although I would be more loyal to OSU since I lived so close for that many years.
you guys are so lucky to live so close to the sugar arts show!!!

I'm from Broken Arrow. About 30 minutes or less from Tulsa. I'll be there at the Tulsa State Fair this weekend! I am not entering anything but I always like to go and look at everything. I actually just started cake decorating in February of this year. I've taken the first two Wilton courses so far and only have the Fondant class left.

I'm an RN and just started dabbling in cakes. It is sooo stress relieving and fun.

Ok...if anyone is interested I am posting the website for the Tulsa State Fair if anyone wants to check anything out. All you have to do to find the Sugar Arts show is go to the Creative Arts Section and it should be under that. Hope this works...

My DIL and I got a Wilton book and we are self teaching ourselves until Mid Del class starts.
I just found out it doesn't start til Jan. But that's OK. Having fun anyway.

I live in a suburb of Dallas now, but I spent my happiest childhood years in Chouteau, east of Tulsa. I also lived briefly in Bartlesville and Collinsville. I have family in Chouteau, Broken Arrow, and Locust Grove. I'm gonna see my sisters at the Fair when I come up for the sugar art show.
