I'm having a problem while I am trying to do my colorflow. It keeps breaking while I am trying to do the outline. What can I do to prevent this?

thanks,
lisa

First thought is that the icing may be too stiff. Is it hard to pipe it? If so, you may need to add a few drops of water to it.

Second thought is that you are moving your tip too fast and it is pulling and stretching the icing. Move your tip/bag slower as you pipe.

That's what I was going to say- make sure it's mixed up all the way, and not too thick. It needs to be easily pipable.
