Does Anyone Have A Recipe For Hazelnut Filling?

I'd like to try it but can't find a recipe, is praline the same thing??
Well you can do a few things, i've made a filling using a white chocolate ganache and then added hazelnut paste (it's like peanut butter but made out of hazelnuts, i got it from a health food shop, about $14.00 for a small 1/2 pound jar) worth every penny.
You cuold also add this paste to your buttercream OR add hazelnut meal to ganache. All options very yummy.

A lot of people use that Nutella right out of the jar. I havent used it on a cake, but I bought a jar of the Nusco (my store didnt have nutella) and it is pretty good. Might be good mixed with buttercream too.
No-I dont think praline is the same thing
I used this recipe and substituted hazelnuts (chopped fine) for the pecans. It was very, very good.

I read on one of these forums that someone just took the nutella and whipped it with their KitchenAid and used that as a filling. I haven't tried it yet, but am keeping it in mind.

This is from The Whimsical Bakehouse by Liv and Kaye Hansen:
in the bowl of an electric mixer at high speed, whip until stiff:
2 cups heavy cream
4 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
soften in microwave for 10-20 seconds:
1/2 cup Nutella (wal-mart actually carries this)
Gently fold the Nutella into the whipped cream.
Yield: 4 1/2 cups
This is so yummy, and it was easy to make.
i used the Nutella for the first time this weekend and loved it. I just whipt it a little in my mixer.
Nutella is made with hazelnut, for whoever asked.
I know you've already made your grocery store trip but here is a hazelnut mousse, that I want to try:
1 tsp unflavored gelatin
3 TBSP cold water
1/2 cup Nutella (5 oz)
1/2 cup mascarpone (1/4 lb)
1 1/2 cups chilled heavy cream
2 TBSP unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
3 TBSP sugar
