Hello,

I am drawing a blank when it comes to designing a Charlie cake. I'm not trilled with doing a chocolate river as it is so messy to serve. What about a topsy turvy cake? Oh, I don't know - HELP!

How about doing a cake to look like a Wonka bar, gold wrapper and all!

A topsy turvy cake would be great!! The top tier could be Willy Wonka's hat. You could do the chocolate river out of MMF and have it "flowing " around and down one of the tiers. Ooh and maybe an Oompa Loompa (You have to excuse me ,this was my favorite book as a child and I love this movie). Try going to the movie website for pictures and more ideas http://chocolatefactorymovie.warnerbros.com/

you could do the chocolate river with some semi thick ganache through the middle with green grass on the sides and some candy things. I cant really remember the scene, but you get the idea.

I did this cake for a Wonka birthday party before the movie came out, so I just went with the all-candy theme. I'd love to see a topsy turvy Wonka cake, though. thumbs_up.gif
