my husband works with a guy that is leaving due to his wife's health. he's an older guy that just sort of helps out around the shop... he does errands and things for them. my husband works at a van conversion company... they do customized, mobility for handicapped and things like that... the guy has to move to new mexico (from wisconsin) because his wife's health is poor and the clean air is supposed to help her. he sold all his belongings and they're moving out there with just that... any ideas for a cake for him?

I don't know exactly what to do but when I read this I thought. FRESH, CLEAN, NEW. Like spring renewal of life, flowers growing, birds chirping. I don't know exactly what to do but I will think on this one. I think keeping it fresh and upbeat would be good.

Sheet cake with a 'road' across the top with a starting point of his home town and the end point of New Mexico and write something fun: "Here or there, your friends will always care".
