I am looking for a white almond sour cream cake recipe....

DH Cake Mix
1 c. sour cream
1/3 c oil
1/4 c milk
1/4 c sugar
4 eggs
1 t. almond extract
And, what about the oil? Would you only use veg oil or what about canola?
