how do I attach cookies to lolliepop/cookie sticks, with out them falling off??? I NEVER do cookies and I have a cake this week with a cookie boquet ontop but I am not sure what frosting to use.I am thinking I should use royal icing to attach the cookie to the stick because wouldn't the cookie fall from buttercream

You can do it several different ways. I bake with the stick in them. Some folks put the stick in as soon as they come out of the oven (I would burn myself) or you can attach with royal or candy melts later.
