not sure if anyone has already posted about this show but it's great!! Alton take a motorcycle ride through out the US, visiting really cool places to eat!!!

My hubby's motorcyle forum group are all watching this show....imagine that...a motorcyle show on the Food Network.

We're watching the first episode of the second season now so I guess it shows on Saturdays at 9pm (central time)

Love, love, LOVE Alton! He can cook in my kitchen, ANYtime! icon_surprised.gificon_biggrin.gif
But I am NOT going to roast and grate my own coconut, make my own coconut cream and coconut milk and coconut extract for a coconut cake! I love him, but sometimes he just goes too far.

wow! Actually if you do all that homemade, grating and roasting your own coconut would be a lot easier. My G'ma used to do it all by hand (w/o food processors) and roast it on the stovetop. I suppose the hardest part would be looking for a fresh coconut. icon_smile.gif

I'm a big AB fan too, but I agree, he does go too far sometimes!

My DH and I were thinking the same thing, although that this time it would only be one episode long, lol! I also love Alton, I love how he thinks. I love how he actually teaches you how to cook rather than just giving recipes.

I so wish we had cable so I could watch this searies. He took an impromtu stop at a local bakery when they were taking a tour of a local museum. Wish I would have known he was going to be in the area, that would have been quite a little run in. Anyone want to record all the episodes and send them to me? icon_lol.gif

Another Alton junkie here watch him every nite at 11. He cracks me up. Think he's great because its actually really entertainment while learning about cooking. And even though I probably would pass on making my own coconut extract or flakes, I still learn alot in the process.
