How do I make cookies from a box cake mix? My g-ma said she use to have a recipe for this. She made them a lot when her kids were small. Due to moving houses twice, she has lost her recipe. I would like to try doing this. If anyone would be willing to share, I'd be grateful.

Ive seen that on here somewhere on the cookie forum I think. I was browsing, or maybe it's this huge cookie book I took out of the library. If I stumble upon it again I'll post it here. Good luck. I thought that was interesting too.
super easy I make them all the time.. Two eggs 1/2 cup oil I think that is all I will check when I get home ( i am at work) and PM you
My favorite :
brownie cookies - sorta chewy, very chocolatey
1 box devil's food or fudge cake mix
1 stick margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Melt margarine. Mix margarine, cake mix, and egg. Addd nuts. Drop by spoonfulls on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
The following recipes are from the back of DH cake mixes from years ago. I know the box mix formations have changed some, so don't know if you might have to adjust the amout of liquid to get the texture you want.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 pkg DH yellow Deluxe cake mix
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 TBS water
2 eggs
Mix all ingredients well. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Press a criss-cross onto each cookie with fork prongs that you have dipped in water. Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for anout 1 minute then remove to racks to finish cooling.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 pkg DH While Deluxe cake mix
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 TBS water
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Blend cake mix, oil. water, and eggs. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for anout 1 minute then remove to racks to finish cooling.
Lemon Crisps
1 pkg DH lemon cake mix
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 eggs
1 tsp grated lemon peel
pecan halves, in desired, to top each cookie
mixing and baking directions as above
Banana cookies
1 pkg DH Banana Supreme cake mix
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 egg
3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas ( two med, bananas)
mixing and baking directions as above
