Good grief!!!!! On the front of the cake even! The nerve!!!! icon_mad.gif

It looks like a poke to find out if it's frosting or fondant. It is awfully smooth!! thumbs_up.gif If it were a swipe it was definately to sample the icing!

It's beautiful none-the-less!!!!

Maybe it was my mother's "Touch it and die" look that brought me up to not touch things if they aren't mine! I have to stop my husband from touching things in museums too.... there's a REASON there's rope in front of the picture, honey - to keep you from touching it!! I don't think I've touched anything that might have wet paint unless I HAD to move it or something..... but if the "painter" were around - I'd just ask - why end up w/ paint on your finger?? at least the icing you can lick off...... icon_razz.gif

I think I can understand it more w/ display cakes b/c you want to know if it's real cake or styrofoam under there - esp. if you have no idea b/c you don't do cake decorating - but for someone's wedding cake?? HANDS OFF!!! icon_biggrin.gif
