Hi guys
So I am in the middle of making little duckies and I just realized that I dont know how to get the darn pieces to stick to one another, etc... I have made MMF and a gumpaste mixture...
Please help, I think I have heard vodka? Or extracts? Help...
These are being done a week in advance in hopes they harden, etc.
Thanks and you fellow CC people are soo awesome!

I would try extracts or vodka. Anything with alcohol in it should work.

I took a gumpaste class last month and she had us dissolve about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of gumpaste in about 3 tablespoonsful of water. It made a very sticky "glue".

Hope this helps. icon_smile.gif

Paxpuella: that is a great tip! thanks! Can this glue be used on 50/50. or only straight gumpaste? I just use water on my gumpaste, but I'm not that good icon_redface.gif

My mom made some daisies with 50/50 fondant and gum paste and it worked really well on her flowers when she glued the centers on her flowers. They turned out really pretty too. icon_smile.gif
