I'd like to make some to start decorating some dummies, but I don't see anywhere that says how many pounds a single recipe (16 oz mm, 2 lb sugar etc) makes, and I need to make enough to cover at least a 6, 10, and 14 to start with.

Anyone have a guess? Or how many round 4" tiers a recipe will cover?

Welll, I just made some for my course 3. I made way too much! One recipe of the 2 pound MMF for ME, made enough for one stacked 6 inch and one 10x3 inch cake. You can see my finished cake in my gallery. To cover the 14 inch, you're definitely going to need 2 batches.

I still have a lot leftover that I'm trying to use up. I think I will make more roses just to have on hand.

Do you mean two batches JUST for the 14", or two batches for all three, the 6, 10, and 14?

16 oz = 1 pound

If you need 24 oz, that's 1.5 pounds, or half the 3-lb recipe that she mentions above.
