LOL! Debi, I'm also the youngest, but was the first one to get married. ![]()
[quote="indydebi"]Michelle, that is an excellent example! I think I will add Italian to my list of exceptions because you are so correct .... Italians tend to be very family supportive.
great advise ,indydebi.but I think you should add Asians and south Asians (Indians ) also. On my sisiters wedding the groom side was expecting 200 people but 400 showed up .![]()
Indydebi you are my hero! I've only been with CC for a few months, but really like seeing your advice/comments regarding clients or situations you've been through. You are straight-forward, polite and to the point with your clients. You help them (and us) realize things they may not have thought of. I'm a pretty direct (some would say at times sarcastic) person too. Right now I'm decorating for family and close friends, but when I start doing more of this I will definitely keep all your little bits of wisdom in mind!
Thanks for always sharing! We appreciate it!
Deb
Yeah debi - great exceptions - i agree with others though, generally any "ethnic" or pretty much any "group" that you would refer to as anything but white - including Italian as someone stated.....yackety schmackety. My sister in law is from Nigeria and when they have weddings there the ENTIRE village comes and the enighboring villages- even people they don't even know....it's nuts! It's like a show of how much money you have and how good of a party you can host instead of the wedding.
Thanks for this reminder....
