How Do I Paint This Stadium Backgroud?

I would like to paint a backdrop to a baseball themed cake similar to the one pictured on the following link. Any suggestions? Should I use food coloring?

That looks like an edible image. If its going to stand up like that and not be eaten, then i would just print the background picture off the computer and laminate it, so the colors dont run. Unless you are really good at painting and can do it free hand, if you can my hats off to you cause i sure couldn't
