I am still pretty new at this. Can you please look at my basketweave wedding cake in my photos (2nd pic/Daniels) and tell me what you think about what I charged for two of these? They are both 10 inches. One is WASC with strawberry preserve filing. The other is a deep dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. Both are Buttercream and basketweave. I charged $104.00. Advice? Tracy

My price would have been $85.50 for each cake with the fillings.

I however do not know what the prices for cakes are in your area. I think your best bet is going to be to call a bakery and do some price checking. Do NOT call wal-mart/targe, or any other grocery store, call a bakery.

Not sure if this helped our not.

Pricing is really a regional thing. I used to live in California and was able to get an extra $1.00- to $2.00 per serving, depending on the cake. I moved to Colorado and now can't get nearly as much. For the 2 cakes you did, I would have charged around $125.00.
