Help!!! Quick!!! Please!! Barn Red Color....

i have a cake due tomorrow morning...and yes im a slacker...i waited...and i CANT get a Barn Red color...it just looks like a funky pink color...somebody please help me!!!
Have you tried adding a bit of cocoa to the mix - it will darken up the icing - just add a bit at a time tho... is hard to go backwards!, then add more red - that will take away the "pink" tinge you have.
sometimes a teeny tiny bit of orange adds a bit of an edge to red once you are close to the red that you like.
