Oh Gosh, Another Question

I'm icing the wedding cake today, I have the first layer on all the cakes and a second layer on 3 tiers. Guess what I forgot to do... I didn't imprint the cake plate on the tier below it. So...when I go to set up how am I going to measure the dowel rod and make sure it's centered? How does everyone do that???

Do you have any extra cake boards the same size as the cakes going on top? If you do you could use that. Worse case scenario, you can use your pans icon_biggrin.gif HTH
