I know there are a ton of threads on Chocolate Covered Oreos, but I am hoping that y'all won't mind another one.

I am having trouble getting the oreos out of the molds. (I have the molds from spinning leaf.) I am using semi-sweet chocolate chips... is this the problem? Do you spray the molds first? I just wish I could get these right!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would not put any spray in these; works best for me if I put in the fridge or freezer to set; once the mold looks 'cloudy' it is usually set. I twist the mold a little, maybe even tap it on the counter, turn the mold over and they fall right out. Can't answer on the chips as I have only used candy melts (Merkens usually). These little confections rock, don't they!

Thanks for your reply. I tried banging them on the counter, putting them in the freezer.... I just don't know why they won't come out! icon_redface.gif Maybe I will go pick up some candy melts and see if that makes a difference.

did you gently push on the top of each cavity w/ your thumbs after putting in freezer?

Yep... I'm so clueless as to what could possibly be wrong! icon_cry.gif
