My DH has ordered a Kopykake Airmaster compressor and airbrush for me for our anniversary (11/icon_cool.gif!! I have never used an airbrush before and I'm so excited to try it. I hope he gives it to me early! icon_lol.gif If anyone has this same model, please tell me how you like it and share some pics of cakes you have made using it. Thanks! icon_smile.gif

I have one and like it. I had problems with my airbrush though, in the beginning. I was able to email with a KK rep and they were very helpful and things are fine now. I just use it for basic stuff--I haven't had time to learn really cool things, but I did get one of Roland Winbeckler's books as a guide. There are couple of cakes in my photos, but again very basic (still need to learn how to apply the color evenly...).

Thanks for sharing! I looked at your photos and I think you're doing great for first time using the airbrush. I love the train cake! I'm sure that I'll have the same problems when I use mine. It's like everything else........you need to get used to using it and then practice, practice, practice. icon_lol.gif Your cakes are all very nice. You do good work. thumbs_up.gif

What a nice gift! You will love your air-brush. There are some great books out there to get some good tips. It just takes alot of practice.

I just wanted to give y'all an update. I have been using my airbrush for about a week and I love it. I used it on the "Good Luck Katie" cake in my photos and to do roses on that cake and the onesie and booties cake. I have had no problems with it so far. I just need to practice to learn how to control the end result.
