I'm a beginner wanting to learn to make gumpaste flowers. I live in Hawaii where it rains quite a bit and it's humid. I know that gumpaste doesn't work well in humidity. Is there a recipe I can try that will withstand the humidity here?

Its quite humid here is RI and I havent had a problem with the prepackaged gumpaste that I get from wilton..I know there are recipes out there but quite frankly I am to lazy to make it..Someday I really must try it though.. Anyhow it dries okay for me.

Try Nicholas Lodge's recipe....supposed to be better in humidity....

I was hoping I'd find some people from Hawaii here that could help me too.

I'll look for some of the prepackaged wilton gumpaste. I hope I can find that here.

I have 2 Rosemary Watson videos, that I converted to DVD that I really want to try.

Thanks!
