I want to make the Basic Butter Cake recipe from the cake mix doctor book, the problem is that it call for white cake mix and I don't have any icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif and I don't really feel like going to the store, I only have yellow mix, do you think it would make a difference??

Thank you icon_redface.gif

I don't see why it would make any difference. Mind you I think (thought) that the only difference between the white and yellow cake were the color.

It's been my experience that the yellow cake mixes tend to have a bit of a buttery flavor, so it should be great.
