Hubby is a Very BIG Star Wars fan, collector, and now costumer. His favorite is Darth Vader, so I became ladyvader01, and use it for everything!!
Darth Vader is my daughter's favorite too 
Last year my MIL dug in her attic and found a big box of my husbands old Star Wars action figures to give to us - we were so excited to see all of the original ones!

My dad used to own coal trucks and I had to pick up and deliver checks on mine property so I had to have a CB and alot of my friends started calling me Thunderkitten I added the extra "n" because alot of times Thunderkitten is already taken. I have only one other username and that is jojoanddash after my 2 baby puppies named Jojo & Dash. I rescued them and they rescued me all at the same time. I had just lost my step sister to cancer and if it wasn't for my Hubby and my dogs I would have had alot harder time.

Interesting reading....mine comes from my initials vww and my birthday Jan 4. I also use it for everything.
Also interesting reading about people's avatars....mine is a zinnia that my 4 year old son and I grew this summer from seeds! We couldn't believe how it grew!

Mine is a character in one of my favourite series of books. She was just a minor character but left an impression since I also called one of my dogs Jasra. It was the Amber Series by Roger Zelazny, fantastic series if you like science fiction!

Love this thread! Mine is so boring . . . it was the first time I picked a screen name and I didn't realize I was supposed to be original and witty. Mine is just my first initial, my hubby's first initial, and our last name and I chose it because it's my username for my email and I thought I'd need to remember it.
My avatar is a cookie that I recently made and loved how it turned out . . . and everytime I tried to make an avatar of my family (my two cute little boys) they came out too small to even see so I gave up.
My avatar is one of my babies Jojo. This is one of my favorite pictures of him. Him and my other baby Dash are both spoiled rotten puppies.
my name is the first three letters of my first and last name, and i've had it for about 10 years probably... it has evolved into a nickname amongst friends. it's pronounced like"cat-leg".

someone on this site recommended www.shrinkpictures.com for shrinking avatar pictures and it's great! That's how I was able to get a photo avatar. I messed with my pictures for hours trying to get them to the right size but still be clear and I gave up but then tried this site. It's free and when you go on their site, you click on the shrink avatar link and it walks you through it. So easy! Give it a try!

ckkerber: I went to that site and resized it, but how can I get it to 6kb?
They didn't give an option for KB's but when they say "maximum size is 200" they are referring to pixels and the CC instructions mention a maximum of 110 pixels so that's the number I used. Let me know if it works!
This was the first site I needed to come up with a screen name and later, while surfing I see that someone else has a website with that name, but oh well! Edibleart is what this website is all about! I have had a few different avatars. Flowers that I grew, MMF model of our pup, and latest projects!
