I was just admiring Charm City Cakes site.
Noticed a wedding cake on a mirror.
Novel idea!
Got any other cool ideas to display a cake?
I'm new at this.
I think the display could set us apart.
When I was a wedding photographer I never saw anything different than the usual pedestals or cake boards.
Thanks, Doleta

Welcome to CC, you will love it here!

I definitely agree that the display can make or break our cakes, it really bothers me to see cakes on uncovered boards, or not-so-neatly covered.

The mirror is a good idea, and if you do a search that are a multitude of other good ideas here. Also, just go through the photo gallery for ideas. Janice

tons of great ideas here......I've seen people use big ceramic tiles in all sorts of designs, glass blocks like you would find in a shower wall?? They use those and put christmas lights inside with some flowers and it glows and looks beautiful!!

I recently did a wedding cake with a friend and we came up with the idea of using wine glasses filled with rose petals instead of pillars. Since then every bride that has seen the picture has asked for the same cake.
