So the cook gets cooked. I couldn't help but giggle at the irony.
I just put him in there to dry, but it seemed so...*sick* to peek inside my oven and see this little happy-faced rat inside.
I'm actually getting kind of excited about this guy now. Let's hope I don't accidentally turn the oven ON! (By the way what looks like flame on the bottom is just a reflection from my camera's flash.)
That's all, just wanted to share.
Oh he is so cute!!! He looks like he is sleeping.
Fun-ny! Do yourself a favor though and write a note "DO NOT TURN ON OVEN!" I'd be so sad if he turned into a disaster story!
He looks great! Even if he does look a little umm.. dead and cooking..
You must have an extreme amount of patience. ![]()
He looks great! That first picture was hilarious, I looked at it before I read your message and at first glance thought he was on the grill! ![]()
What an awesome Remy! Looks just like him, WTG=) I hope those whiskers hang in there for you! Jen
You've done a wonderful job. I hope his whiskers stick! He looks just like him. You should be very proud of yourself. ![]()
Oh how I wish my twins were awake to see Remy... not in the oven baking of course. ha, ha.. They absolutely loved the movie. He looks great, you are soooo talented.
Send me some of that talent .... please ![]()

Remy would probably tell me "Everyone can not make figures"
Your Remy is perfect ... so adorable! ![]()
Is he going on a cake?
How's this for irony: when the fondant all slid off my cake (see http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopicp-4588053.html#4588053), Remy lost his tail, ear and a hand. But the flippin' whiskers stayed on?! LOL!!!!!
Thanks for the kind comments! There's a "before" pic of the cake in my gallery now. I managed to glue him back together before I gave my DD her cake, then she grabbed him and promptly broke off ALL FOUR appendages, his ear, and of course those resilient whiskers.
Next time I'll just buy the danged plastic figurine! LOL
