Thank you everyone for all your encouraging words and everything. I finished my course 1 tonight and I am so jazzed. My final cake, while a little wilted from the heat and a 25 mile drive home on country roads, is to me a sheer masterpiece.
I start course 2 next week...

Congrats! Getting that first certificate is so great, isn't it! Course 2 was my fav, I hope you will have fun! You must be real dedicated to drive so far for this!

Oh yeah, the certificate! I forgot to even look at it...I was too excited about the roses. I have wanted to do this FOREVER...just took until now to do it.
