Does anyone know if there is such a thing? Is there a company that makes it? Can it be made from scratch? I have no idea!

If you follow this thread, you MIGHT find your answer. At the end of one of Doug's links in the thread it suggests an organic substitution for powdered sugar.

Here is the thread:

Here is Doug's the link:

I would have no idea how to find/replace any of the other ingredients. Checking out Whole Foods is my first guess.

Good luck with it! thumbs_up.gif

Thanks for you help. I'm not sure if it can be done, I just want to see if it's possible. The search continues. icon_biggrin.gif [/u]

I just found some premade organic fondant in the UK... but can't find anything in the states. I've seen a few bakers that do organic wedding cakes, but don't know if that includes fondant or not.

I do organic where I can, but I do not say "all organic", just "using organic ingredients". The cost of organic sugar is EXTREMELY expensive. My solution is to get organic where it matters the most - eggs and dairy. I "will" use organic flour, but I usually use unbleached regular. I use organic Vanilla.

Sugar is just really, really hard to substitute - even if you can find it.
