Shimmer Dust Vs. Luster Dust???

Is it the same thing? If not, what is the difference? Anyone???

NOT the same thing. Shimmer dust is basically finely ground cake sparkles. You can sprinkle them on BC iced cakes or spritz a bit of water on a fondant cake and sprinkle them on. Not much else with them. They do not give the same affect as luster dust at all. Luster dust is powder that you can brush on dry or paint on by mixing it with a clear extract (vanilla or lemon) or vodka, gin or everclear. The shimmer dust does not mix well with the alcohols or extracts--they tend to clump.
