Gel Paste To Dry On Fondant?

How long will it take my gel paste, no alcohol added, to dry on fondant??

It's getting drier, but it's been 3 hours! sheesh
I've got a fan blowing on it, that's helping a lot.

i find the straight gel, takes a long time to dry, if ever. Sometimes it seems to stay tacky. But for some reason when i add white coloring to my gels(americolor) i end up with a nice paint consistancy that dries rather quickly.
