HELP! HELP! My Boss wants me to make a 3 D Fire Truck cake for her grandson
Could someone please help me with instructions on how to do this Ive seen some really cute ones on this site. How do I make it stand up How do I construct it Please someone Help I really want this to look cute he's going to be Two yrs. old soon.

My Curious George cake had an old fashioned fire truck. What I did was to bake a 12" square, then cut it into rectangles. I think the rectangles for the body were 9x4. I got three of those out of the square, plus some leftover pieces. I stacked the 9x4s, and used the leftover pieces to make the cab. Then I carved it.
If you're doing a modern, squared off fire truck, you might need more cake. I would figure out how big you want it, then use some graph paper to figure out a cutting pattern, depending on what size pans you have. ![]()
I just made one myself - Thecakewizard helped me with mine. This website will give you the general idea of how to construct the cake using a 12x18 sheet pan. It's really easy.
