i made a white buttercream cake with some black frosting (writing and border)... i've noticed a little purple running from underneath the black and i have to wait for the party till tomorrow... would refrigeration make this worse or stop the bleeding? any kind of advice would be appreciated! thanks!

Don't go by just my opionion but if it were me, I would refrigerate. My buttercream gets really firm in the fridge and so this is what I do.

I think that it would make it worse. After you take it out of the fridge it may sweat and bleed worse.

okay, my parents have a bar room that isn't heated... it's like 60 degrees out here... so that wouldn't be so cold but maybe cool enough? i'm just scared to leave it out there because i don't have a container for it with a cover because it's a half sheet cake and i'm worried the ants will get at it! if i just covered it, do you think it would be okay there? it's been getting to about 45 degrees at night...

In my humble opinion, air drying would be your best bet. Probably in a cool dark area.
