I have a customer who is wanting a large tiered cake who's bottom layer is a 16" square with contoured edges. I don't have a 16" square pan that is contoured and wanted to know if any one out there has one and if so where did you purchase it from. If this pan is not in existence, WHY NOT??? (jj) icon_smile.gif If it's not, I need help on how to trim the edges evenly to get this kind of soft edge look. She is wanting it iced in buttercream. I am afraid that I am not going to be able to get all of the edges smooth or even. Also, does anyone have any cool tools that they use to get the super smooth edge? I have heard about using belly bands but I don't know if they can be used with buttercream or if they only work with whipped icing. Please help! Thanks!
