I just love the cakes that have the quilt look. How do they do that?
I guess some of you might find this a stupid question, but I gotta know.

I just bought the Wilton fondant roller/cutter and used it for the first time on the pink purse in my photos. I just let the BC crust and then used a ruler to quide the roller straight. I love it and can't wait to use it again. HTH

I haven't done this technique yet, but you can also get templates that do it for you. There are sheets with the imprint in it that you press into the cake and there are just diamond shaped presses that you can use as well. check them out here:
