I have several sm. bottles of edible glitter flakes (not luster powder). How do I use them? Painting? Sprinkle on damp icing? I haven't a clue.

I sprinkled some in a baggie and then took my fist and something else that was handy and ground them up...still sparkly but ground up fine...when I was doing a royal icing flower, I very slightly dampened my finger, dipped it in the ground sparkles and then touched it to the center of my flower...the center of my flower looked very pretty and it dressed up the flower.
You could also sprinkle them without grinding them up, on cupcakes and the edges of cakes.
Have fun!

So a little damp is ok. I like the idea of grinding the flakes up a bit so they can be sprinkled. I'll try it on flower centers, too. Thank you.

it's fun to take out your aggressions on them. Just take your spatula handle and stick it down in there to grind them up. Once they're small, you can sprinkle them on flowers, your cakes, etc. Do it as soon as you make/ice them, so it will stick.

Have fun!

Thank you. I'm waiting for some "shells" to set and then I can paint and dust them, cool.
