I don't have my serving chart with me (at the office - last week!)
But I need sheet cake to serve 50 (nice party sized pieces).
How much does an 11x15 serve? maybe I'll do 2 of those?

I'm going to the cake decorating store in an hour or so and need to buy boards and boxes....don't want to run home to consult serving chart first...

THANK YOU MY CC FAMILY!!

Two 11x15 should give you plenty of cake. I usually figure 30-35 servings for that size.

According to wilton's chart a 11x15 serves 60 party size pieces. HTH

Edited to say 2 layer is 60 pieces.

According to the Wilton website, it will serve 60 with a double layer.

I love Wilton with all of my heart, but their servings sizes are very optimistic.

This cake is going to an office and I doubt people will cut themselves the little slivers Wilton would have you cut in order to produce 60 peices of cake.

BUT I LOVE YOU FOR LOOKING IT UP FOR ME!!!!!

Anyone have Earlenes handy?

OOOOOHHH! I'm glad I checked this thread. I'm doing a cake for "about 40"-per customer, next week. I was planning on doing a 11X15. Will this not be enough?

11x15, if cut into 2x2" pieces (which are rows of approx 5x7) = 35 servings.

12x18, if cut into 2x2" pieces (which are rows of approx 6x9) = 54 servings.

This is assuming a 1-layer cake and the 2x2" size. Just do the math for different sized pieces.
