under chocolate MMF? It's a groom's cake so I can't go too far with the chocolate right? icon_smile.gif (It's a chocolate cake, too). I'm just hoping there's nothing about the consistency that would mess up the fondant. Thanks! You guys are so great! I've learned more in 1 month here than in all the years I've dabbled in cakes.

I don't know if the chocolate syrup frosting will adhere to the MMF. I would hate for your MMF to slide around after you've gotten it on the cake. I usually use buttercream which prevents the slippage.

Don't know about your recipe...but just simple chocolate BC is wonderful! AND SAFE!

Thank you very much. I think I will stick with the plain chocolate BC for this event and try the syrup frosting another time- it sounds good! I found it here in recipes: Chocolate syrup frosting. Thanks again.
