Does anyone know how to make gold frosting? I don't want to cover the entire cake in gold, just use it for gold accents. I was planning on using gold dust for accents, but some pictures I have looked at appear to actually have gold frosting. I would be using it for scrolls, dots, etc.
Thanks!

Sorry, can't help on the mixing colors for gold. Just wanted to pass on that they sell the gold in the gels.

I just spent an hour looking for this, but it came from Sugar Wonders (Dallas cake club). I haven't used it, but will share it with you.

Mix equal parts either gold, silver or bronze Luster Dust and powdered sugar togethr in a small bowl. Add enough clear spirit (vodka, etc) to make stiff paste, then add enough piping gell to get piping consistency. Use a small parchment bag to pipe it.
Store leftovers indefinitely in the refrigerator.
