Help Wasc Question About Making This

I was going to make this cake. The recipe asks for white cake mix. I just realized that I have Duncan Hines moist delux french vanilla cake mix. Should I go ahead and make it or will it taste wierd?

I always use Duncan Hines.

Also, any flavor of cake mix can be used. icon_smile.gif

You can alter the recipe by changing extract flavors, flavors of cake mix, using berry or lemon juices, liquor or liqueurs, adding white chocolate, raspberries or strawberries.

I use the french vanilla all the time and love it! With this recipe, you can also use the 6 whole eggs instead of the egg whites...I hate wasting the yolks!

I was wondering myself how WASC would taste using DH French Vanilla. Been tempted to try it since I already have the mix, but I wasn't sure what flavorings I should use with it. Let us know how it comes out! icon_biggrin.gif

I know the WASC itself is excellent and the chocolate version (used DH Devil's Food) is really good too...tried yellow cake this past weekend for my nephew's bday cake and everyone loved it!
