I need a cheesecake tasting filling that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Someone suggested the cream cheese filling in the sleeve. Does it taste like cheesecake? Or the mousse recipe with pudding, milk, heavy cream, how long can that sit out? That one is what I was originally going to do but with this weather now a days I'm afraid to chance it. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I would go with the filling from the sleeve, it tastes fine as a cream cheese filling.

You could also make a faux bavarian cream using ShirleyW's recipe and either Rich's Bettercreme or Pastry Pride:

For extra cream cheese or cheesecake flavoring, extract could be added:
