How do I find out when and where there are cake shows in California? I know there are some throughout the year . . . . my mom really wants to find some for us to cruise through. (Suddenly she has decided when she retires we are opening a bakery together!!! Augh!!!!!!)

Search in the LINKS section for cake clubs near you - they will know! Also check with your favorite store!

Here are three sites you can go to that may help: California Cake Club; San Diego Cake Club; Contra Costa Cake & Sugar Arts Society. They should all either post upcoming competitions, or have links to them. I competed in the San Diego Cake show this year. It was great.

ICES.org always has a list of cake clubs in different states, and they host their own events and days of sharing all over the place, including the big convention every July. I know in MD they have one in March/April, and OK has the big event in Oct.
