Hi does anyone know where I can get ivory fondant or even ivory colour in louisiana. I have just been asked to make an ivory cake for this saturday. So can't ship it as it may not be here in time. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

If in a pinch you might just try brown vanilla - depending on the shade of ivory you need. Americolor has Ivory - be pushing it to get it there from CC store.

If you'll go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby, the Wilton section will carry the ivory color, they are the small containers but should be plenty for a cake.

Was going to suggest the same, although it might stickify the fondant. Will suggest a tiny bit of brown and an even tinier bit of yellow to make ivory. Both should be available at your local craft store.

Yes, just use the Wilton color. Definitely color your fondant first, then match your buttercream to it., if you plan to use it.

I took my BC outside and the fondant outside to match. Took me 4 tiny drops of Americolor to match the MMF.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I think I will take a trip out to the nearest michaels and see if they have the ivory colour. Thanks again.
