i brought an ebook about cake decorating and guess what??? i have not even looked at it.

you will not need anything except cake central.

By software, do you mean a program that helps us design cakes, or a program that helps you calculate costs, store recipes, etc.
If you mean design, I'm in line right behind you!
Don't forget, there is a section on templates now, that has the different cake shapes. Print the template, cut out some flower photos from a magazine, and place them accordingly.
That is, until we find the design program.
