does anyone have an easier way to get color into ready-made fondant? or is kneading it in the only option?
i know with MMF its easiest to add it while in the process of melting but with the ready-made, kneading it in is the only way that i know of.
i'm just curious if i'm making this harder on myself than it has to be.

Hi cakerator,

Someone on the forum yesterday (can't remember who it was) stated that they use a pasta machine to color the MMF. Can't see why it wouldn't work on regular fondant thumbs_up.gif

you can put it through the pasta machine, but the way I teach it in class is to twist and pull like taffy. Run the color lengthways along a snake of fondant, kneed it a couple of times, then start twisting and pulling like taffy. It spreads much faster and isn't as hard on the wrists. icon_cool.gif
